Ticketmaster CEO Pleasants Announces Resignation

(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Ticketmaster's CEO John Pleasants announced his impending resignation last week.

Pleasants has served in a number of roles with Ticketmaster, including President and CEO. Before joining Ticketmaster, Pleasants held various management positions with Frito-Lay and New York textile manufactuer Hygiene Industries as well as serving on the board of directors of several privately-held corporations.

Pleasants has not announced when he will step down, or where he might land.

Ticketmaster Chairman Terry Barnes will take over as CEO temporarily until a permanent replacement can be found. — CelebrityAccess Staff Writer
