NAMPA, Idaho (CBS2) — A special education teacher from the Nampa School District has been arrested.
Jefferson Davis has been employed as a special education teacher at West Middle School since 2014. Davis has been arrested and charged with forcible penetration with a foreign object, and video voyeurism.
A spokesperson for the Nampa Police Department said the incident was not with a minor and was not at the school where Davis is employed.
A statement from the Nampa School District says that Davis was placed on leave since October 21, 2022, and the district is cooperating with law enforcement on charges against Davis, but declines to comment further as they continue to review this "personnel issue."
Davis is currently in custody in Canyon County
