COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho (AP) A Montana grizzly bear that made its way to the Coeur d'Alene River Drainage last month has been shot and killed by a hunter.

The Coeur D'Alene Press reports spokesman for the Idaho Department of Fish and Game, Phil Cooper, says the 165-pound grizzly was shot near Osburn Wednesday.

The bear was trapped and collared in Montana in August, and then relocated to the Cabinet Mountains near Whitefish, Montana.
