After fans accused her of being pregnant with current love Travis Barker's baby, the 42-year-old simply pointed out the facts. "I'm a woman with a BODY," she reportedly spat back at one of the comments. In 2020, she also dropped some words of wisdom after her body was the subject of unnecessary comments. "This is me when I have a few extra pounds on, and I actually love it," she responded to them. "I have given birth three amazing times and this is the shape of my body."
Kourtney has mastered the art of willpower and maintains a super strict diet, eating only organic and keeping gluten and dairy to a minimum. She has also famously lost weight with the help of keto and intermittent fasting. During her extreme times, she would fast from 7 pm until 11am, adding a 24-hour water and bone broth fast once a week. Usually, her diet consists of whole foods like avocado, oatmeal, fish, fruits and veggies and other whole grains.
Kourtney always makes exercise a priority. "I think I take time for myself to work out every day, which I never did—especially having three young kids," she explained to E! News. "I just never made it a priority, and now it just makes me feel so much better—mentally and physically." She avoids trendy workouts, sticking mostly to strength training. She usually starts off with a jump roping or running session followed by weights. Sometimes she will use a stairmaster or Pilates reformer or floor exercises like leg kick-backs with a resistance band or kettlebell squats.
The Kardashian and Jenner girls are regularly snapped exercising together. In fact, Kourtney dished to E! News that her go-to workout buddy is her sister Khloe. "I know for my body, I need four to five days a week of working out. Khloe and I really push each other to do that," she said.
Kourtney is a big fan of supplements and regularly shares them on her blog. "Every morning, when I wake up, I take collagen supplements on an empty stomach," she recently wrote in a blog post. Next, she drinks a glass of water mixed with one tablespoon of organic apple cider vinegar. "Both of these habits have a ton of health benefits that affect everything from your skin to the way your body processes nutrients," she wrote. Next up? A vegan probiotic shot, followed by avocado pudding with the fruit and E3Live blue-green algae, bone broth protein powder and MCT oil. "It only takes a few minutes to make," she says, "and it provides healthy fats to give me energy before a workout."
