Flood City Music Festival is taking over People Natural Gas Park in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, for the 24th time this year, from July 26-27, 2024. And, once again, they’re bringing in a diverse array of artists.
For Friday, American blues rock band Andy Frasco & The U.N. is taking the stage as the kick-off main act. Then, headlining the event on Saturday are rock legends Talking Heads member Jerry Harrison and guitar giant Adrian Belew, who is also an ancillary band member. In early 2023, the two joined forces to celebrate the band’s iconic 1980 album Remain in Light.

In 2023, Los Lobos, Keller Williams’ Grateful Grass feat. The Hillbenders, Trouble No More, and Doom Flamingo graced the park with their stellar performances.

You can grab a two-day festival pass ($65 for General Admission, $90 for VIP) or a single-day ticket ($45 for Friday, $55 for Saturday). Children under the age of 12 who are accompanied by a parent/guardian get into the festival free; anyone over 12 must have a ticket.
But you can purchase a VIP package deal for 2 with accommodations for the weekend at the Hampton Inn ($545) and for 4 ($755). If you don’t like the Hampton Inn, you can check out a variety of lodging options around the area, with the closest ones including Holiday Inn Downtown and Econo Lodge.

If you want the whole festival experience, you can camp ($60 per person). This comes with two round trip shuttles daily from campground to festival grounds and unlimited coal tubin’. This ticket can only be availed online.
Members of the Johnstown Area Heritage Association (JAHA), which produces the festival, are entitled to a free upgrade to VIP Pass when they buy a 2-day pass! They just need to visit the Heritage Discovery Center. There’s a limit of four per family membership and above, two per individual or dual membership.

Make sure you have a copy of your tickets for entry. If you choose e-tickets, please print them out and bring them to the festival. As for parking, the most convenient is located at Bold Athletics, at 60 Walnut Street (across the street from the train station, about a block from the festival entrance). There are also ample spaces in city-owned downtown garages, which are just walking distance from the venue, and the city may charge a fee, so be prepared. In addition, a limited amount of free street parking is available.
