Well, that photo popping up on our Instagram feed was not what we were expecting today, but Darren Criss and Este Haim surprised everyone with the announcement of their new podcast, “That Thing I Do.”

The pair decided to join forces to talk about what each other does and invite guests on to talk about what they do.

“She’s a musician that does acting. I’m an actor that does music,” Criss said in his Instagram post. “There’s a lot of things we and our special guests do, but only so much time to really talk about it. So we made our own space and time.”

Both Criss and Haim have been very successful in their own ventures throughout their careers. Criss has starred in a number of Ryan Murphy projects, including Glee and American Horror Story, and won an Emmy and Golden Globe for playing Andrew Cunanan in The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story. He has also released his own music over the years, including his latest character-driven singles, “f*kn around” and “i can’t dance.”

Haim is one-third of the pop-rock band Haim, which also features her sisters Danielle and Alana. Together, they have released three albums since 2013 and were nominated for Best New Artist at the 2015 Grammy Awards. In 2015, they were an opening act on Taylor Swift’s 1989 World Tour. This year, they received two more Grammy nominations for Album of the Year and Best Rock Performance.

The duo already came together once this year for Criss’ debut performance of “f*kin around” (as the clean version “runnin’ around”) on The Late Late Show with James Corden.

“Really, this is just a way for us to make new friends,” Haim said in the trailer. Presented by Cadence13, “That Thing I Do” premieres every Wednesday on Apple PodcastsSpotify, or wherever you listen to podcasts.
