18-year-old Homedale man dies in single-vehicle accident

According to a recent news release, Idaho State Police is investigating a single-vehicle fatal crash from Aug. 21, at approximately 11:50 p.m. near Caldwell.

An 18-year-old male from Homedale, Idaho, was traveling in a BMW 650 when he went off the road and came to rest in a yard off Ustick Road and Angelina Court.

The driver succumbed to his injuries at the scene. He was not wearing a seatbelt.

Canyon County Paramedics, Caldwell Fire Department and Canyon County Sheriff's Office assisted Idaho State Police. The incident remains under investigation.
